My Story
Mother, International Preacher, Leadership Consultant and Facilitator, Certified Professional Life Coach, Best Selling Amazon Author, and Founder of Women Empowered in the Millennium, Inc., and Empowerment with Dr. Angie, Dr. Angela Corprew-Boyd is certainly the image of a Change Agent in the Kingdom of God. She affirms through her ministry, Philippians 1:6, “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Her goal is to empower others to walk in authority and fulfill their destinies.
Dr. Angie has authored several books, “If I Perish, Let Me Perish, But I’m Next,” “Church Hurt: The Wounded Trying to Heal,” “Removing the Fear” with eleven other co-Authors and #1 Amazon Best Selling book and author of “Don’t Curse Your Crisis.” She is also the host of “Empowerment with Dr. Angie,” a talk show where she celebrates other women and their work in the ministry and shares a “WORD” of empowerment that affirms and confirms the viewers’ NEXT-NOW! God has also released her to steward THE EMPOWERMENT CIRCLE, up and coming ministries who will be navigated by the Holy Spirit to receive leadership, wisdom, coaching and counsel from her.
Dr. Angie has been recognized for her work in her professional career as well as in the Kingdom. She has recently received a Humanitarian award and recognized by ACHI Magazine as Mentor of the Year. Dr. Angie has a bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University in Secondary English Education, a Master of Arts degree from Norfolk State University in Urban Education/Administration and Personnel Management, a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Organization Leadership from Regent University, and an earned Doctoral degree from Regent University in Strategic Leadership. After retiring with 30 years of service as a teacher, assistant principal, and Human Resources Administrator, she was recently appointed principal at Chesapeake Juvenile Services; her assignment is to bring hope back to students who are remanded by court. She also serves on Chesapeake’s Integrated Behavioral Healthcare Board.
Her spiritual covering is Bishop Kim Brown, Prelate of the Mount Global Fellowship of Churches and Pastors Ljay and Dr. Keshia Brown who lead at The Mount Chesapeake.
She immensely loves being a proud mom of three adults and grandparent of seven.
